Many university students are inexperienced shoppers with limited budgets and busy schedules. Under these circumstances, finding motivation and time to locate affordable essential items is daunting.

Better Bag leverages a playful visual identity and aspects of gamification to engage students and infuse enjoyment into the mundane task of planning.

Express your aesthetic through a customizable avatar.

Coins can redeem real-world discounts at popular stores.

Takeaways

Working on Better Bag highlighted the value of collaboration. Being able to generate ideas and play on individual strengths within a team was crucial to the execution of this project.

While it was challenging to ensure visual consistency across our team’s diverse set of screens, it was also an incredibly valuable experience.
